Aishah Moore

GP

Dr Aishah Moore completed her medical degree at the University of Newcastle. She worked in northern Sydney, the Royal Hospital for Women and Sydney Children’s Hospital where she nurtured her interest in the health of women and children. She completed the Diploma of Child Health (University of Sydney) in 2010 and has attended additional training in family planning. Aishah continued her GP training in Orange and Sydney, attaining General Practice Fellowship in 2012, and was the recipient of the Tony Buhagiar Memorial Medal for her performance in the fellowship examination.


Aishah gained accreditation in Neuroprotective Development Care under A/Prof Pamela Douglas from the Possums Clinic in Queensland, in 2020. This unique, evidence-based program focuses on infant care, breastfeeding support and parental wellbeing.


Aishah’s other interest is in Medical Education. She enjoys mentoring medical students as a Foundation Years’ Tutor at University of Notre Dame, School of Medicine, Sydney and is completing a Graduate Diploma in Health Professional Education.
