IUD Insertion and Removals

Dr Aishah Moore is able to insert and remove IUDs (Intra-Uterine Devices).

 

IUDs are a highly reliable contraception that sit in the uterus, removing the need to take daily medication. A range of options, including hormonal and non-hormone options are available.

Hormonal IUDs may also be used to reduce heavy menstrual bleeding, can be used in the management of endometriosis and as part of a menopause hormone replacement therapy (MHT or HRT) regime.

 

IUDs can usually be easily removed if required.
